Tachi Yokut Tribal
Environmental Protection Agency
The Tribal Environmental Protection Agency (TEPA) of the Tachi Yokut Tribal Nation is dedicated to protecting the natural environment, cultural resources, and public health of our community. With a strong connection to the land and our traditional values, TEPA strives to preserve and safeguard the air, water, soil, and ecosystems of the Santa Rosa Rancheria and its surrounding areas for both current and future generations.
Mission
To foster environmental stewardship and sustainability, we aim to implement proactive policies, develop innovative programs, and engage in community education that respects the traditions and sovereignty of the Tachi Yokut people.
Vision
TEPA envisions a thriving ecosystem where the land, water, and air are protected, balanced, and in harmony with the Tachi Yokut cultural values. Through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to sovereignty, we aim to build a sustainable future for our community and beyond.
Get Involved...
We encourage tribal members to take part in our programs, provide feedback, and contribute to our collective effort to protect the environment. Together, we can ensure that the sacred balance between our people and the natural world is maintained.
