As the Director of Social Services, I oversee tribal programs that support the well-being of tribal members, focusing on areas like child welfare, family support, mental health, and substance abuse prevention. I manage social services staff, develop and implement policies, and ensure compliance with tribal, state, and federal regulations. In addition, I work to secure funding, collaborate with community leaders, and advocates for culturally relevant services to address the unique needs of the Tachi Yokut Tribal community, promoting healing, resilience, and self-sufficiency.
